AMPED paddle is a paddle series from Selkirk which is one of the best Pickleball paddle manufacturers in the world.

This flagship paddle series is introduced by Selkirk and it is one of the most exciting paddles I have experienced so far.
I am appreciating it as an exciting paddle because Amped paddles are very different from any typical paddles.
It hosts lots of exciting features and technologies that will give top-notch performance and a stylish outlook.
But let me tell you there are different versions of this paddle series ( amped epic, S2, invikta) and each one of the paddles is differentiated based on size and shape rather than the core materials and the technologies they offer.
So regardless of what model you have and what you want to buy I will help you to decide if this paddle is the one you were looking for or if it is just another time and money waste.

X5 honeycomb thick core:
This 5x polypropylene core is a new technology and it is used for consistent speed.
Using this technology amped paddle reduces the amplitude and vibration frequency of the ball.

And this impact vibration dampening results in smother shots. Moreover, this 5x core gives a larger sweet spot too.
Fiber flex facing:

What I liked about Selkirk amped paddle?
What I most liked about the paddle is its consistent performance even after 20 matches, I had many Pickleball paddles but most of them got damaged and gave a reduced performance.
But Amped paddle performance didn’t drop even though the spin and control level is still the same.
It didn’t grow any dead spots and the graphics are still the same as new without any paint chipping off.

Honestly speaking I didn’t find any cons about this paddle performance, so far so good up until now.
