How to make a Pickleball paddle cover in Few Easy Steps.

To make your own pickleball paddle cover, first, you need to have some important items used in making your paddle cover bag.

Now that you have the cover-making items next task is to measure the height and width of your paddle to make sure your paddle will perfectly fit inside the cover. 

To measure accurately use a measuring tape.

To measure the canvas cloth size that will be required, you can simply put the canvas on a flat surface and put your paddle on top of the canvas cloth. 

And use a pen to outline the paddle on the canvas. Do not draw the grip area because the grip area of the paddle will not be added to the cover. 

Make sure you are drawing the outline one centimeter wider than the actual paddle size. And do the same outline drawing on top of the foam cloth. 

Make two drawing on canvas cloth and two drawings on foam cloth.

Now that you have drawn an outline with proper measurements, the next task is to make the cover.

Now cut out both of the outline drawings from the canvas clothes, and do the same and cut the foam pieces too. 

You will be left with two identical pieces of cloth and foam, which look like a paddle.

Now take the zipper and put it on one side of a canvas cloth. Make sure it covers at least 40/50 % outline of the paddle face area of the canvas. 

Then after knowing how many zippers you will need, you cut the zipper according to your need. 

The next step for the zipper is to attach the zipper to the outline of the canvas by sewing it. 

Sew foam with the canvas:

Now put foam in each of the canvas clothes pieces and sew it on the outline area.

But make sure you are sewing the cloth from the inside so that it will not look bad after finishing.

The foam pieces will be one cm smaller than canvas clothes. So you can put the foam on top of the cloth and bend the extra clothes inward to sew on the bent cloth line.

Do the same sewing for the other two pieces of cloth and foam.

Attach both pieces by sewing:

Now that you have big two pieces of canvas with foam inside you have to sew both pieces together. 

In the case of the zipper area which is already attached to one piece of cloth. You have to sew the extended area of the zipper with the other piece of cloth.  

Final Touch on Making Pickleball Paddle cover:

Use an extra piece of cloth and put it through the D hook, and attach the D hook to the cover. And also attach the hanging key ring to your belt. 

With this step done, you will complete making your Pickleball paddle cover that can carry on your shoulder.
